THE DEPNESS - UNDERWATER is an abstract fantasy about the visualization of the feeling under water. Depth is a place of perfect silence, where the noise of the surrounding world disappears and a person perceives only the rhythm of his own breathing and heartbeat. With increasing meters under water, the light decreases. Dark blue color tones predominate with a gradually disappearing color spectrum of light. The first thing a person begins to perceive is the loss of red color, later yellow and green. At great depths of more than several tens of meters, monochromatic blue or grayish shades of colors dominate. The painting technique is in an expressive style. The color tones are applied with brushes and a spatula in several layers. Some are pasty but also transparent, which is made possible by the technique of oil on stretched canvas. The painting format is 60 x 80 cm.
